How does BIOZOME differ from other micronutrient preparations now available in the market?
On the basis of its weight and cost, BIOZOME is more complete and contains more nutrient values in return for your money than other micronutrient preparations. Besides, only BIOZOME contains an exclusive stabilizer that ensures long term nutrient availability in the farmsoil. Price: $40 | Net Weight: 8 Kg. | Good for 1 hectare

Why is BIOZOME necessary?
What benefits can be derived from BIOZOME?
Micronutrients are toxic to plants when applied in excessive amounts. After several years of successive BIOZOME applications, can there be toxic residual accumulation?
- Agricultural crops need nutrients like Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium (NPK) and also other elements generally called secondary and micronutrients. While in the past, agricultural crops of moderate and low yielding varieties may be sustained by natural elements available in the soil, present practice of continuous cropping using the high yielding varieties becomes unsutainable after sometime. To eliminate this phenomenon, you need to lay your land fallow for quite sometime or use BIOZOME.
What benefits can be derived from BIOZOME?
- Excellent crop growth -- By supplying the necessary secondary and micronutirent elements, which become limiting and deficient under natural condition, obviously results to excellent crop.
- Rejuvination of farm soil -- BIOZOME enhances the proliferation and activities of beneficial soil microbes that improve soil organic content and native fertility potential.
- Savings on inputs -- Many farmers tend to supply plants with increasing volumes of NPK fertilizers to achieve increased yields not knowing that in general, it is the deficiency in a single or a number necessary secondary and/or micronutrient elements that cause declining yields or even crop failure. At present, with the use of BIOZOME together with inorganic or organic fertilizers, many sugar, rice and corn farmers gained higher yields even with reduced inorganic NPK fertilization thereby decreasing input costs while increasing revenues.
- Sustainable growth even at relatively low pH condition.
Micronutrients are toxic to plants when applied in excessive amounts. After several years of successive BIOZOME applications, can there be toxic residual accumulation?
- Absolutely NONE. Micronutrients in BIOZOME when applied at recommended rates (8kg per hectare) are just enough to meet the minimum requirements of plants in one cropping life. Only those absorbed by proliferating soil microbes will be left. But these are very minimal and would be gradually released to the plants as the microbes die. UPLB has confimed this finding.
